Lake Bomoseen Lodge

Venue | Accommodations

Located on the beautiful Lake Bomoseen, this all in one resort is the perfect venue for a weekend-long Vermont wedding celebration.

In Their Own Words:

Lake Bomoseen Lodge is nestled in the Taconic Mountains on Vermont’s largest inland lake, gorgeous Lake Bomoseen. We have multiple ceremony locations, including the historic Neshobe Island, and newly renovated guest accommodations, plus a variety of activities for guests to participate in while you relax and enjoy your big day!

An on-site coordinator is included to assist with all things planning, and our chefs are skilled at using local, sustainable ingredients to create the menu of your dreams!

Ceremony Locations:

We have a variety of ceremony locations and as we do only one wedding per day here you will have your pick of any, as well as backup rain locations. All of our ceremony locations include a gorgeous wood arbor, mahogany chiavari chairs, and transportation to and from the site. We have our Lakeside location, nestled in between two ancient oaks, our Hillside location with panoramic views of the lake, and our very own Neshobe Island, where guests get transported via a fleet of pontoons to an island brimming with nature and history.

Accommodations:

We have a variety of accommodations here for all your guests’ needs. From classic Lodge Rooms with balconies overlooking the water, to multiple cottages and condos with full sized kitchens and lounge areas, you can really make the Lodge your home away from home for the weekend! All of our accommodations are recently renovated, and many are pet friendly so your pup can be part of your big day and enjoy the festivities as well!

Activities:

Lake Bomoseen Lodge has a range of activities for everyone- from our pontoons, kayaks and paddleboards, to our lawn and bar games – even a recently added Tiki Boat floating bar! There are endless hiking trails and lookouts on the property, as well as our in house restaurant the Taproom for all your culinary and beverage delights! There are historic sites, art galleries, golfing, excellent shopping opportunities and more- all within a short drive away. Our staff love helping guests plan their adventures and with tons of activities in the area Lake Bomoseen is a great choice for nature lovers and more!

Favorite Memory: When couples do a private ‘last dance’, when their guests leave the reception area to go to the late night areas, and they have a moment alone to their favorite song to wind down the evening.

Favorite Vermont Activity: Tiki Boating and pontooning on Lake Bomo of course!

Dance Floor Requests: “Gimme Gimme Gimme” by Abba is mine, but all the young servers said “Mr. Brightside” by the Killers so I will oblige this one to them haha.
