Favorite Moment During a Wedding: The boys will tell you the food is their favorite thing about a wedding. My mom and I agree that the father-daughter dance is always a special moment.

Favorite Vermont Activity:You will often find my mom and me bargain shopping at all the Habitat stores and scouring Craigslist for some cool finds. My dad keeps himself busy with his private apple orchard of Honeycrisp apples and sugaring at his property in Franklin. Bobby, my husband and our resident foodie, is always scouting out the next restaurant to check out and loves menu shopping!

Perfect Wedding Weekend!

The Soule House and Carriage Barn as well as Lindsay and her family behind the venue are absolutely incredible! My wedding weekend was hosted there earlier this month and everyone: myself, my husband, family and all our guests were in awe! The property is beautifully picturesque, with a carefully decorated historic house, well kept, clean yet rustic barn and of course quintessential VT views. My family and I took full advantage of the venue’s “all inclusive” nature of being able to stay in the house and host additional events – we held the ceremony rehearsal and rehearsal dinner Friday night, along with a small welcome bonfire for our closest guests. We so loved and appreciated the breakfast Saturday morning, which welcomed and accommodated my toddler nephews and gluten free MOH. We also extended our stay on Sunday and hosted a goodbye brunch in the barn. All the events and Lindsay’s help organizing them made the weekend seamlessly perfect! My only suggestion if you’re hosting additional events would be to discuss the nitty gritty details like start/end time, how to open up or lock up and what the end of the weekend looks like. However, even when hiccups arose, Lindsay worked closely with me and my weekend-of-coordinator to find the best solution to still achieve what I was looking for. 10/10 recommend!

The owners are absolutely amazing, the house is to die for and our wedding couldn’t have gone more perfect than how it did!! ❤️ We originally planned for an outdoor wedding but the weather did not allow, but we set everything up inside and it couldn’t have been more beautiful.

The owners helped us every step of the way, the breakfast that they provide was very simple but none the less great and very easy.

There is more than enough room for some of your friends and family to stay the night. The beds were very comfortable, and the fireplace in the master bedroom is just absolutely peaceful to watch at night.

All of our friends and family fell in love with this place and how perfect the set up was, they have an outdoor fire-pit that we all sat around Friday night and enjoyed the stars and crickets.

We couldn’t be happier with our decision the use The Soule House for our wedding weekend. Lindsay and her mom took amazing care of us! We had a small wedding dress snafu, and they were quick to offer a needle and thread to help! It was such a beautiful spot for me and my girls to spend the night before, and for the bridal party and their spouses to stay the night of the wedding. We also held our small, casual rehearsal dinner here and it was perfect. They served us a delicious breakfast both days, cleaned up the countless bottles of water we left all over the house, and made us feel us right at home. Every person who stayed said how comfortable the beds were. I would definitely recommend this place! They also have a beautiful place to hold your wedding , in the carriage barn.
