In Their Own Words:
We are located on a beautiful hill less than a mile from the village of Newfane. We provide you with a choice of several locations to choose from for your ceremony, all of which provide stunning views of the property. The pond view ceremony location is a popular favorite, and the heirloom orchard is often used for cocktail hour games.
There are two rooms plus a bathroom for the wedding party to prepare in, or just hang out before, during and after the ceremony.
Our venue is the perfect choice for couples who want to craft a unique wedding experience. We provide the serene, picturesque backdrop and allow couples the freedom to design from there!
Favorite Moment During a Wedding: When the couple turns around and walks through the guests with those ‘just married’ smiles.

My wife and I loved getting married at Silhouette Hill. The property is absolutely beautiful and our guests loved exploring the grounds. Laurie was very flexible and super helpful through the entire process. We also hired Fran as our wedding planner-she was a joy to work with! If you’re looking for a down to earth, family-run establishment with that vermont vibe-this is your spot!

Everything we wanted!
We had the most beautiful wedding at Silhouette Hill. It was everything that we wanted. It was relaxing but elegant. Laurie and Henriette were so kind and made us feel very welcome. They helped make everything run smoothly. If you’re looking for a beautiful wedding in Vermont this is the place.
A summer night we always dreamed of
Our wedding as Silhouette Hill was above and beyond our expectations. The property is gorgeous, the people are amazing, and we had all the flexibility we wanted to plan the special evening we always dreamed of for our wedding. The property is the perfect backdrop for a gorgeous even (and great for pictures). We loved working with Henriette and Laurie. In a world of overpriced venues with restrictions and complicated rules, Silhouette Hill is the perfect place for a laid-back party with tons of flexibility to make it truly yours.

Laurie and Henriette will take such great care of you. They are so flexible and accommodating. You can truly use their spectacular space to make your own magical event. We make a point to go back once a year around our anniversary to visit the magical space.
We got married near the pond but considered the orchard because it is also so beautiful. We had a bon fire with smores for those guests who might be too shy to get out on the dance floor. Plenty of space to have lawn games or a separate area for cocktail hour. The space is a beautiful open canvas, you can get very creative. There’s room for parking if guests drive themselves. Really you can’t ask for a better place to get married.
Luke at Green Mountain Tents provided everything we needed – chairs, tables, tents, dance floor. He is from the next town over and even came by the day of the event to check the tent because it was a windy day.
You will have a magical time getting married here.

Hands down, the best decision for our wedding was choosing Silhouette Hill as our venue!
It was absolutely breathtaking! It encapsulates every bit of why we love living in the Green Mountain State, and made it possible to share Vermont’s beauty with our family and friends on our special day.
Laurie & Henriette are so down to earth, kind, and helpful through it all. They truly make you feel like you are family. It is such an incredible gift for them to share their breathtaking views and land with any couple! We are forever grateful for their hospitality . We have so many beautiful memories (and pictures!) of our wedding day, and it’s all because we chose to have it at Silhouette Hill! It is such a special place nestled in the Green Mountains, and forever in our hearts.
